Quintessa, an Domaine iconic winery in California's Napa Valley, embodies the perfect alliance between exceptional terroir and the passion of a family devoted to winemaking.

Founded by the Huneeus family, Quintessa is a tribute to the natural beauty of the landscape and the constant pursuit of excellence in the production of world-class wines.

The story goes back to the 1980s, when the Huneeus family acquired an estate of over 150 hectares in the Rutherford region, in the heart of Napa Valley. The family's vision was to create a unique Domaine, where the diversity of soils, the orientation of the hills and the ideal climate would combine to produce wines of exceptional quality. Description Quintessa 2019.

It reveals itself to us in a deep, brilliant garnet-red case. In the glass, it opens with an aromatic nose of intense black fruit and spice. After aeration, notes of roasting and cocoa appear. The palate is racy and of great finesse. The powerful structure is counterbalanced by supple tannins with a silky texture. Intense fruit and chocolate aromas follow through to a very long finish dominated by a hint of minerality. The bright fruit and freshness suggest great ageing potential.
