The Brut nature Chouilly Grand Cru from Maison Lombard is a Champagne that celebrates the very essence of the unique terroir of Chouilly, one of the emblematic Grands Crus of Côte des blancs. This 100% Chardonnay wonderfully reflects its duality: to the north, the chalky clay soil gives the wine roundness and amplitude, while to the east, the compact chalk provides minerality and tension.

Made without wines from Réserve, this cuvée highlights the purity and freshness of Chardonnay. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and the deliberate choice not to trigger malolactic fermentation underline the tension and energy of this wine, while preserving its natural character.

Unfined and aged for 6-8 months in stainless steel tanks, it then spends 48 months in the cellar, allowing it to round out its aromas and develop fascinating complexity. This prolonged aging accentuates the elegant fruit and pastry notes typical of Chouilly, while retaining the distinctive minerality of the terroir.
