Normandin-Mercier Essentiel
Bottle made by the sailors of the frigate "l'Hermione".
Normandin-Mercier
Cognac Normandin-Mercier, it's an old 18th-century dwelling nestled in the saintongeaise countryside surrounded by cellars where the treasures of this House dating from the Second French Empire under Napoléon III sleep.
Created in 1872, today a fifth generation is looking after this long-established heritage, hidden not far from La Rochelle, "the rebel city" with its headquarters by Louis XIII and Richelieu, the port of origin for the first shipments of wines and then later in the 17th century of brandies distilled in its hinterland named Cognac from the mid-19th century onwards.
This is where Premiers Grands Crus, true to its Quality Charter, has unearthed this gem of Cognac.
Description Normandin-Mercier Essentiel.
It is a unique Cognac from the Grande Champagne region.
The bottle dates from the beginning of the last century and is decorated with a ring called "Turkish cap" made by the sailors of the frigate "Hermione".
Oak and stainless steel case, block taken from a log in the port of La Pallice in La Rochelle, dressed in full grain calf leather.
