Painturaud Frères

The House of Painturaud Frères is a well-established name in the world of Cognac, renowned for its rich history, commitment to tradition, and exceptional product quality.

Founded by the Painturaud family in the early 20th century, this family-run business has carried on its heritage and passion through the generations.

Fernand Painturaud created the distillery in 1934 in Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, one of the most prestigious Cognac crus. The Painturaud family quickly made a name for themselves thanks to their uncompromising commitment to quality and expertise in the production of Cognac. This family tradition has been handed down from generation to generation, from Fernand to his son Paul, and then to his grandchildren, Thierry and Jean-Luc.

Description Painturaud Frères Hors d'Age.

This is a Grande Champagne Cognac, classified as Premier Cru in the Cognac region, harvested from the vineyards of Segonzac, a village nestled between the white chalky hillsides of this prestigious cru. The youngest of the cognacs in this blend has been aged in French oak barrels for over 40 years.
Grape variety : uni blanc. Distillation on lees and aging in barrels stored in small cellars at an optimal hygrometric degree. The color is deep amber.
In the nose as in the mouth: beautiful attack on white flowers perfumes followed by touches on nutmeg, on leather, harmoniously mixed with iris and narcissus perfume, and with candied fruits and candied mirabelle plums flavors from Alsace. Very long finish and very round on the mochas.
To be enjoyed neat or on a dark chocolate cake or meringue ice cream.
