It is in the archives of the late 18th century that we find traces of the Roullet family settled a few miles from Jarnac and Cognac in a remote vineyard property called Le Goulet.

In 1772, the first vines were planted by this family of winegrowers, distillers and merchants in Cognacs.

At the dawn of 3 centuries of existence, the traditions with the 9th generation, continue but the vineyard has expanded and is now composed of 140 ha of Fins Bois, the 4th Cru of the Cognac region, 46 ha in Grande Champagne, classified Premier Cru and the rest in Petite Champagne, that is 18 ha classified 2nd Cru.

House Roullet raise many qualities of Cognacs including some Cognacs of Grande Champagne Premier Cru.

Description Roullet XO Gold.

The color is slightly dark amber with some red copper highlights.

The nose at first attack is very freshly cut hay accompanied by small touches of white flowers of fruit tree like cherry or pear tree, followed by a light touch of acacia and lime tree.follow some fragrances of spices like grey or black pepper and dried fruits.The final is blond tobacco with a delicate touch of cocoa.

The mouth is round, very ample and long.
