The Domaine of Miraval is a Domaine winery located in the Provence region of France. It is particularly well known for its high quality Rosés wines. The Domaine covers more than 500 hectares and boasts vineyards, olive groves and forests.
Miraval became famous due to its connection with celebrity couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who bought the property in 2008. They invested in Domaine and are committed to producing high-quality wines in collaboration with the Perrin family, a renowned family of Rhône Valley winemakers.
Miraval wines are produced from traditional grape varieties of the region, such as Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle (also known as Vermentino). The viticultural methods used on Domaine are environmentally friendly, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity.
The Champagne Fleur de Miraval is a House dedicated solely to the production of Champagne Rosé. It is the fruit of the association between Brad Pitt, the Perrin Family and the Péters Family.
A delicate nose opens with aromas of fresh, tart red berries reminiscent of raspberry and redcurrant.
On the palate, minerality is well present, giving way to iodized and saline notes reminiscent of the identity of great chalky terroirs.
