Founded in 1859 in Barbaresco, Piedmont, by Giovanni Gaja, the Gaja family has long been associated with the relentless pursuit of quality and the redefinition of standards in the world of wine.

Angelo Gaja, an emblematic figure in the family, played a central role in transforming the house into an internationally renowned company. The vineyards span several regions of Piedmont, including Barbaresco and Barolo, where Nebbiolo reigns supreme.
