Château Bellegrave

The Château Bellegrave is a very old vineyard of the Pomerol appellation and owned by the Bouldy family since 1951.

From generation to generation the Château at heart to vinify wines in the purest respect of their terroir and their grape varieties, they have chosen the AB mode of production for about twenty years in the concern of cultivating in a healthy way but also in order to perfect the definition of their wines.

Roundness, finesse, freshness, elegance and drinkability characterize each of their vintages.

Description Château Bellegrave 2023.

Château Bellegrave is a very old vineyard in the Pomerol appellation, owned by the Bouldy family since 1951.

From generation to generation, the wines are vinified with the utmost respect for the terroir and grape varieties, and for the past twenty years have been produced using the AB method, with the aim of not only cultivating in a healthy manner, but also perfecting the definition of the wines.

Roundness, finesse, freshness, elegance and drinkability characterize each vintage.

Average age of vines: 45 years

Harvest: Hand-picked with selective sorting from September 11 to 25, 2023

Terroir : Gravelly, Clayey

Vinification: Blending of plots by soil type, age and grape variety. Individual vinification for each vat.

Area under production: 8.5 ha.
