Alfred Gratien
A family-run Champagne house since 1864! If exception has a name it's certainly Champagne Alfred Gratien. The Champagnes from Alfred Gratien are hand-sewn Champagnes, a guarantee of quality and uniqueness.
At the heart of the Champagne vineyards, you have to stray a little from downtown Epernay to reach the Champagne Alfred Gratien cellars. It was here, on rue Maurice Cerveaux, that Alfred Gratien set up shop and created its first cuvées in 1864. For more than a century and a half, Champagne Alfred Gratien has remained in the family, perpetuating the know-how of its founder.

Description Alfred Gratien Brut Nature.
Composed of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier from the Côte des blancs terroirs, this Champagne expresses remarkable purity and intensity.
Its luminous golden yellow color is enlivened by a calm, steady effervescence, with numerous fine bubbles that testify to its superior quality.
From the very first nose, this cuvée Brut nature reveals unrestrained aromatic intensity, offering intoxicating scents of Secs fruits, candied fruits and melted butter.
On aeration, the bouquet is enriched by nuances of hazelnut, walnut and jasmine.
The attack on the palate is lively, carried by remarkable effervescence. The absence of dosage in this Brut nature reveals the tonic structure of this wine, carried by its chalky minerality as well as its firm texture.
The finish continues the sensations perceived on the palate: sharp, firm, acidic and straight. It marks the mind with its precision and length, leaving a lasting impression of refinement and character.
Served at 8°C in a slender flute, this Champagne is aimed at connoisseurs and will pair wonderfully with firm-textured dishes such as lobster, cured ham, small game birds, as well as aged cheeses like old Gouda or old Mimolette.
