Deutz

A sure-fire, must-try value, Maison Deutz has decidedly everything to please, offering numerous Champagnes as fine as they are irresistible. Spanning 45 hectares of vineyards around the town of Aÿ, mainly classified as Premier Cru and Grand Cru, Maison Deutz demonstrates an authentic style with the purest respect for traditional methods and environmental issues.

Description Deutz Brut 2014.

This is a Champagne Brut of blends composed of 62% Pinot Noir grapes from the terroirs of Aÿ, Bouzy and Vernezay, 33% Chardonnay grapes from the parcels of Avize, Vertus and Villers Marmery and 5% Pinot Meunier grapes from Chamery.

The bottles will be cellared away from light and noise, with successive tastings to measure their qualitative evolution and peak.

Luminous La robe is adorned in a beautiful light gold.

On the nose as well as on the palate: the nose is all finesse and delicacy with delicate notes of red berries. The personality of this cuvée is then confirmed with a more floral tone. Aromatic intensity on the palate, the attack is frank, pure and mineral, intensifying with delicate aromas of kumquat, apple and pear. The finish is persistent and generous.

Dining and wine pairing : served between 10°C and 12°C , this wine Millésimé will be appreciated both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes such as fine fish, sushi, sashimi, crab flans, risottos with white truffles, or white meats such as veal à la crème.
