It is in Mesnil-sur-Oger classified Grand Cru, a famous village among the 17 villages classified Grand Cru out of the 320 or so villages classified Champagne, that the Pierre Moncuit family has been established for more than a century in 1889.
The Pierre Montcuit Grand Cru vineyard extends over some fifteen hectares, a small part of which is planted with vines for more than 50 years.
The children of a fourth generation, Yves and Nicole, are the ones who today run this very beautiful House assisted by a fifth generation, Valérie.
It is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, a red wine from Ambonnay from terroirs all classified Grand Cru.
The robe is a delicate pale pink.
On the nose: an explosion of red berries such as raspberry or wild strawberry.
The palate is light and rich with the scent of red berries.
Magnificent as an aperitif but also with fruit cups and sabayons.
To be served between 8 and 10° C.
