Maison Audry
A name from the past and that of an old family almost always linked to the history of Cognac, some of whose roots lie in Saintes.
Founded in 1878 by Auguste Edmond Audry in Cognac, Maison Audry produces Cognacs of incomparable quality, appreciated by connoisseurs the world over. With a heritage rich in know-how, the company has distinguished itself through its mastery of double Charentaise distillation and the meticulousness of its blends, building a reputation that today extends beyond borders.
In 1905, the second generation of the Audry family set up their own winery and laboratory to support the company's development. The precision of the blends and the quality of the Cognacs seduce the most demanding sommeliers, making... See more ...
Description Audry Très Ancienne Réserve Aristide.
It is a blended Cognac, the youngest of which is over 50 years old. All the cognacs that make up the blend come exclusively from the Premier Cru of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne.
In order to offer its best customers the best of the best despite its rarity, the Audry family offers this rare Grande Champagne de Cognac.
It is a Brut de fût at 50% volume. A very rare ecstasy.
The color is a beautiful dark mahogany gloss with amber highlights.
An astonishing bouquet of aromas: touches of white flowers between acacia honey, apple blossom and peach blossom, cinnamon, pear and violet in the first attack followed by more assertive flavors like spices (gray and black pepper), licorice, nutmeg, candied fig, clove with a very strong final of leather and coffee/cocoa variants.
A moment of sharing after a meal that ended with a chocolate dessert or coffee eclairs and a darjeeling tea (perhaps flavored with bergamot?) or a coffee of great vintage with a few volutes of Montecristo or Cohiba.
