Godet
Godet is a Maison de Commerce de Cognac founded in 1782, but earlier archives allow us to go back as far as 1550, when Bonnaventure Godet from the Netherlands set up a wine business on the Quai de La Rochelle.
Later, Jean Godet, ennobled by King Louis XIV of France, was Mayor for life of Fontenais.
In 1782, in the 7th generation, Maison Godet was entered in the Trade Register as a trader in Cognac, a key act authenticating this house.
Today, Maison Godet is run by the fifteenth generation, still based in La Rochelle.

Description Godet 22 Years Old.
Aged for more than 22 years in French oak barrels, this cognac comes exclusively from the small area of Grande Champagne, a cru classified Premier for its exceptional olfactory and gustatory qualities.
To the eye : very marked amber
In the mouth as in the nose: a wide range of aromas and flavors with a very long finish on coffees and mochas.
