Château de Beaulon

Château de Beaulon is a benchmark in the world of Cognac eau-de-vie and pineau des Charentes production.

This renowned house, located in the small Charente-Maritime commune of Saint-Dizant-du-Gua, boasts a rich history and family tradition dating back centuries.

The history of the Beaulon family is closely linked to that of their Domaine. The distillery was founded in the early 18th century by Jacques Beaulon, a man with a passion for vines and distillation. Description Château de Beaulon Collection Privée Pineau Blanc 1985.

This is a mono-millilage blend of grape juice from Semillon and Sauvignon varieties at the time of harvest, intimately linked to Cognac, all made exclusively at Beaulon's Château in autumn 1985.

This blend was then put into French oak barrels from that date and is bottled as demand dictates.

La robe is very deep, sustained Gold with coppery highlights.

Fragrances and flavors on the nose as well as on the palate (splendors)   : broad, very balanced aromatic palette of cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, lightly toasted gingerbread, stewed fruit, passion fruit, apricot Secs and white spring flower honey.

Serve between 12 and 14°C on canapés or medallions of foie gras flavored with white Alba or black Périgord or Lot truffles towards Albinque, Cassonade of roasted Williams or Conference pear gratin.
