Château de Pez

The Château de Pez, a magnificent Domaine vineyard located in the Médoc region, embodies the elegance and centuries-old history of Bordeaux wines. Founded in the 15th century, Château has witnessed many generations of the de Pez family, who have dedicated their lives to viticulture and the production of exceptional wines.

The family's history goes back to ancient times, testifying to their commitment to tradition and quality. Over the centuries, family members have kept pace with trends in the wine world while preserving the very essence of the Médoc terroir. Their dedication to the art of winemaking has shaped Château de Pez into a jewel of the Saint-Estèphe appellation.

The Domaine extends over a significant number of hectares, offering an impressive landscape of well-tended vineyards. These soils, rich in gravel and clay, are ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and other emblematic Médoc grape varieties. The diversity of grape varieties grown on Domaine enables us to produce complex, balanced wines that faithfully reflect the unique character of the terroir.

Description Château de Pez 2016.

Grand Vin de l'appellation Saint-Estèphe, the 2016 Château de Pez boasts a brilliant, dark ruby color. On the nose, rich notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry and blackberry emerge. After a few minutes, notes of flint and sweet spices appear. On the palate, it is both supple and full-bodied. Perfectly structured tannins assert themselves, but remain very velvety. A harmonious blend of black fruit flavors and fine woodiness. The refined finish lingers for long Secondes.
