The Gaja house, an icon among Italian wine producers, embodies excellence, innovation and a rich family history that goes back several generations.

Founded in 1859 in Barbaresco, Piedmont, by Giovanni Gaja, the Gaja family has long been associated with the relentless pursuit of quality and the redefinition of standards in the world of wine.

Description Gaja Barolo Sperss 2018.

With its sumptuous ruby-garnet color, this great wine has a complex, intense nose. Sandalwood, rose, blackberry and plum aromas mingle. In the background, pleasant notes of sweet spices can be detected. On the palate, the medium-bodied attack quickly builds to a full, dense body. Perfectly integrated tannins, with a velvety touch, provide a pleasant body. Powerful fruit aromas continue through to a very persistent finish.
