Château Mouton Rothschild

The Château Mouton Rothschild is known to all wine lovers, not only for its exceptional wines but also for its labels signed by artists since the 1945 vintage.

The story of Mouton Rothschild began in 1853, when Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild bought Château Brane-Mouton from Pauillac, renaming it Mouton-Rothschild. In 1922, his great-grandson Philippe de Rothschild took over the reins for the next 65 years, and it was he who raised Mouton Rothschild to the pinnacle of its glory thanks to his determination and doggedness. Description Le Petit Mouton de Mouton Rothschild 2008.

With its deep, intense color, Petit Mouton 2008 impresses with its charming nose of pronounced expressions of red fruits and sweet spices.

Raspberry, redcurrant but also tobacco come together greedily.

In the background, wood comes to bear witness to barrel aging.

On the palate, it reveals itself to be elegant and balanced. The well-integrated tannins offer a supple texture.

The red fruit aromas are confirmed, bringing great freshness.

Appreciable now, it still has lovely ageing potential.

All in all, a Second wine that perfectly reflects the excellence of Château Mouton Rothschild.
