Description Prulho N°8.

A magnificent XO from the Borderies terroir, known for its rich, floral bouquet. Made exclusively from grapes harvested in 1998!

Behind its deep copper color with golden highlights, this Cognac boasts vigorous aromatic power: aromas of violets intermingle with fruity notes of blue apples and prunes in alcohol. Very ripe scents of dates, figs and walnuts add an enormous greediness. A hedonistic but fine nose, without any heaviness. Subtle roasted notes add to the complexity.

The mouthfeel fulfills the aromatic promise of what we had on the nose, while adding aromas of candied fruit and orange peel, as well as fine touches of spice, coffee and dark chocolate. A rich, powerful Cognac that manages to maintain a magnificent balance between gourmandise and refinement, and will delight the palates of the most discerning connoisseurs.
