Deau

The story begins in 1685, during the reign of King Louis XIV, when Louis Deau, settled as a winemaker in Charente and discovered the mythical alchemy of stills.

For several generations the Bru Legaret family has owned and operated a Domaine winery in the heart of the Cognac region.

Today, Véronique Bru Legaret and her son Roland Legaret take over the destiny of the Deau Cognac brand, and are proud to introduce you to a universe where the beautiful, the exceptional and the unique meet and can create an absolute emotion, a revelation, a discovery.

Description Deau Vieux Pineau.

This old Pineau Blanc has been crafted from the "Ugni Blanc" grape variety subtly blended with grape musts and brandy from Cognac.

It has been slowly aged for 18 months in oak barrels, resulting in this magnificent blond, translucent and slightly amber color.

The nose reveals scents of fresh flowers and a hint of rancio.

The palate is smooth with a light honey taste complemented by the tangy notes characteristic of old pineau.

With its lovely length, old pineau Deau will pair perfectly as an aperitif or with foie gras on its mango chutney.
