Bibi Graetz

From a renowned art and music family in Italy, Bibi decided to dedicate his life to creating exceptional wines, becoming an iconic figure in the wine world.

The family history is rooted in art and culture. Bibi, born to an artist mother and an orchestra conductor father, inherited an artistic sensibility that is reflected in his wines. The family's passion for creative expression has been passed on to Bibi, inspiring him to explore new horizons in the Domaine of viticulture.

The Domaine extends over a limited number of hectares, a characteristic that often distinguishes elite wine producers focused on quality rather than quantity. These vineyards are carefully chosen to take advantage of the ideal conditions of the Tuscan terroir, with sunny exposures and rich soils.

The Domaine grape varieties are often an eclectic mix of native and international varieties, creating unique and expressive blends. Sangiovese, Tuscany's emblematic grape variety, can be at the heart of its wines, bringing Tuscan structure and identity to cuvées like Testamatta. Other varieties such as Colorino, Canaiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon can also play a role, allowing Bibi to play with the infinite palette of oenological possibilities.

Bibi Graetz's approach to winemaking is marked by an unconventional philosophy and the use of both traditional and experimental methods. His wines are often the result of hand-picking, natural winemaking techniques and aging in oak barrels of various origins. This meticulous attention to every detail reflects the constant quest for excellence and authenticity.

Bibi Graetz, as a winemaker, has succeeded in transcending traditional boundaries, pushing the limits of creativity and innovation in the world of wine. His family history, deeply linked to art, has played a key role in creating a unique Domaine and producing wines that capture the imagination and reveal the true essence of Tuscan terroir.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!

It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
