Château Lilian Ladouys

Located on the Cos plateau, on the axis between Calon Ségur and Lilian Ladouys, the vines cover more than 80 hectares.

They flourish on gravelly soils resting on subsoils of clay and limestone, true geological treasures of the appellation.

Description Château Lilian Ladouys 2023.

Unwavering vigilance, a constant battle

The 2023 vintage calls for unfailing protection of our vineyards. Downy mildew pressure is very high from spring onwards, with unpredictable and stormy weather. This is a constant battle in our vineyard, in its final year of conversion to organic farming. It's a battle that's being successfully waged thanks to the commitment, expertise and responsiveness of our entire team. It's also a guarantee for the future: it confi rms our ability to pRéserver our vines and bring their fruit to perfect ripeness in extreme climatic conditions.

A timely harvest

The end of summer was hot and sunny, leading to an exceptional harvest, the longest (and most intense) in the estate's history. During these 16 days, we exercise great patience to achieve perfect ripeness and the ideal balance for each grape variety and plot.

An authentic style

2023 is a typically Stéphanois vintage in which Lilian Ladouys' own identity comes into its own. Crisp, juicy Merlots are set against dense, deep Cabernets, revealing a wine that's complete, delicious, fresh and long-lasting. Aging further enhances its charm and generosity.
