Henriot

The House of Champagne Henriot is a large family Champagne house founded in 1808.

A large part of the grape supplies come from the Côte des blancs, and essentially from the premier crus and grand crus of Champagne.

The resulting Chardonnay grape variety gives the measure of the House's style on elegance and refinement.

Description Henriot Cuvée des Enchanteleurs 1998.

The Cuvée des Enchanteleurs from Maison Henriot is a perfect demonstration of the masterful blending of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Grands Crus of Champagne.

As a prestigious cuvee, the bottles rest for a minimum of 12 years in the dark and quiet of the Maison's cellars in Reims, in order to develop their full potential.

The 1998 vintage boasts a golden yellow color with elegant effervescence and a lovely string of fine bubbles.

On the nose, notes of candied citrus, hazelnut, honey and pronounced pastries stand out.

This is a ripe bouquet, all finesse, on a fine aromatic evolution.

On the palate, the attack is lively and fresh, a sign of a great year.

Very aromatic, this Champagne delights the taste buds, offering flavors of eXOtic fruit, vine peach and buttery flavors, all with lovely persistence.
