Founded by François Moussé in the early 20th century, the house is located in the village of Cuisles, in the heart of the prestigious Vallée de la Marne region, in Champagne.

The history of the Moussé family is closely linked to that of Champagne. François Moussé, the company's founder, was a passionate winemaker who decided to start producing Champagne to carry on the family tradition. With determination and know-how, he planted his first vines and began to produce quality Champagnes, renowned for their finesse and elegance.

Over the generations, the Moussé family has passed on its know-how and love of the land, preserving traditional values while adapting to changes in the Champagne market. Today, the house of Champagne Moussé Fils is still run by family members, who are committed to perpetuating the winegrowing heritage with passion and devotion.

The terroir of the Vallée de la Marne is a major asset for the quality of Champagnes Moussé Fils. The vineyards cover almost 10 hectares, mainly located in the villages of Cuisles and Jonquery.

Description Rémy Massin Cuvée Louis Aristide.

This is a Champagne blend of several vintages since the years 1995 to 2015 of Pinot Noir varietal wines exclusively.

The vineyard located on the sunny hillsides of Ville-sur-Arce, in the heart of the Côte des Bars, covers 22 hectares, cultivated following sustainable viticulture methods respecting Nature and People. The vines face south and south-east to benefit from optimum sunshine, giving incomparable gustatory and olfactory qualities.

This Champagne, aged on laths for a minimum of 6 years,  is a tribute to Louis-Aristide, the first in the 5-generation line of Rémy Massin savoir-faire.

La robe is bright gold  with summer straw highlights.

The nose is elegant, carried on hazelnut and honey, with notes of tangy red fruits such as raspberry, Plougastel strawberry or Marat des bois.

The palate is in perfect balance with the nose on a frank first attack and a beautiful material of fruit flesh. These various sensations produce an overall creamy, harmonious texture. The finish is clean, slightly velvety, mineral but above all very long.

Wine and food pairings: as an aperitif served at 10-12°C, but no lower so as not to dull the fragrances and flavors of this Champagne.

Would go very well with cep risotto, veal shank or a praline dessert.

Bottles to be cellared away from light and noise with a hygrometric degree of around 70%.

We suggest successive tastings in order to measure its floral and gustatory evolution until its qualitative peak.
