Created in 1988 as a tribute to Elisabeth Salmon, co-founder of the Maison, this cuvée is distinguished by the brilliance and purity of a very noble wine with a unique character.
The 2009 vintage is the expression of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay terroirs. It invites you to a unique sensory experience, the fruit of 11 years of exceptional maturation on the lees.
The first nose reveals refreshing notes of citrus peel and red and black berry jelly. This is followed by the development of refined, mature olfactory notes, respectfully declining the inimitable scents of sweet spices and crystallized violets.
The palate, reveals harmonious notes of gourmandise such as panettone, candied clementine and ginger.
The structure is delicate, then expresses itself on a chalky point with a persistent finish of citron zest.
