A Rosé of great finesse elaborated by the House of Delamotte
Secure packaging and transport insurance
This House of Champagne was created in 1760 in Reims by François Delamotte, the founder. Some time later, his son Alexandre bought a house and cellars in Mesnil-sur-Oger, where Delamotte is still located.
The brand and premises were then bought in 1927 by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt, and it was her son, Charles, who ran it from 1948 to 1988.
Then, in 1988, the house was bought by Laurent-Perrier and was managed by Bernard de Nonancourt until 2010, when Alexandra and Stéphanie de Nonancourt took up the torch to write the future of this House.
Champagne Delamotte Brut Rosé stands out for its grace and subtlety, reflecting the expertise of a great House from the Côte des Blancs. A blended champagne, it combines Chardonnay from the Grands Crus of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Pinot Noir from the Grands Crus on the south-eastern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, in the villages of Bouzy, Ambonnay, and Tours-sur-Marne.
Its color immediately captivates with its light salmon hue with coppery highlights and its fine, regular effervescence that promises elegance and freshness. The nose opens with a delicate bouquet of fresh red berries, raspberry, and redcurrant, enhanced by a hint of citrus and rose. As it breathes, the wine reveals a more complex dimension, with nuances of white peach, white pepper, and a chalky minerality that reflects its terroir. On the palate, the cuvée is lively and chiseled, marked by the purity of the majority Chardonnay, before the Pinot Noir, vinified in red, brings depth, structure, and a velvety touch. The fine, caressing bubbles support a balanced body, where freshness meets indulgence. Red fruits and citrus zest are found, prolonged by a salty, taut finish with beautiful persistence.
A refined and expressive rosé champagne that favors nuance over showiness. It is best enjoyed between 46 and 48°F, as an aperitif or with delicate dishes such as tuna sashimi, salmon carpaccio, grilled poultry, or light desserts with red berries.
