The Domaine des 4 Cygnes is a family estate owned by Fabien and Amélie Faget, both children of farmers. Already owners of a Domaine in the Médoc since 2016 (La fleur St-Bonnet), in 2018 they set up in the Gers, in Côtes de Gascogne, Fabien's childhood land.
They then christened their Domaine "Les 4 Cygnes" in reference to the elements of their astrological sign: earth, water, fire and air, which they represent with their two children. Originally located in the commune of Castelnau d'Auzan, the vineyard now covers over fifty hectares straddling several villages.
Concerned about the environment, Fabien and Amélie take a respectful approach to the vines and the soil in order to produce wines whose expression perfectly reflects the terroir of Gascony.
This 100% Sauvignon cuvée has a bright, limpid pale yellow color with green highlights. On the nose, the wine exhales intense notes of eXOtic fruits such as passion fruit and mango but, also notes of lemon and grapefruit. On the palate, a fresh, fleshy attack quickly evolves into a lively mouthfeel. Citrus aromas are accompanied by pretty herbaceous notes. The freshness and balance of this wine make it a pleasure to drink!
