Wine and spirits masterpieces to your doorstep
The Domaine Didier Dagueneau is an icon among wine producers in the Loire region of France. Read more
Founded by the late Didier Dagueneau, this Domaine is renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc wines of exceptional quality, reflecting the unique terroir of the Loire valley.
The family's history in the world of wine goes back to great-grandfather René, who began cultivating vines in Saint-Andelain, in the Loire valley, in the early 20th century. However, it was under Didier's direction that Domaine reached heights of international renown.
Didier Dagueneau, a visionary winemaker, inherited the family passion for wine. He has transformed Domaine, initially focused on bulk wine production, into a renowned producer of white wines of exceptional quality. His rigorous approach to viticulture and winemaking has quickly made Domaine a leading name in the world of Sauvignon Blanc.
The Domaine vineyard covers around 13 hectares, planted mainly with Sauvignon Blanc, with a few parcels of Pinot Noir. The vines are spread over distinct plots, each with its own microclimate and characteristic soil. This diversity enables us to create wines that fully express the richness of the terroir.
Didier Dagueneau was known for his constant pursuit of excellence. In addition to biodynamic viticultural practices, he implemented precise, unconventional winemaking methods. His use of oak foudres, fermentation with indigenous yeasts and meticulous approach to ageing helped create wines of exceptional depth, complexity and longevity.
The most emblematic cuvée from Domaine is undoubtedly the "Silex". This wine embodies the quintessential Sauvignon Blanc, with intense tropical fruit aromas, distinct mineral notes and refreshing acidity. Every bottle of Domaine is a declaration of Didier's commitment to authenticity and quality.
After Didier's untimely death in 2008, his son, Louis-Benjamin, took over the reins of Domaine, continuing the family legacy with dedication.

The care we take when receiving wines in our cellars enables us to detect bottles with imperfections (dirty or faded labels, damaged capsules, etc.). In such cases, they are systematically set aside and never put online! Our preparation team selects only bottles with perfect presentation for your orders!
It is these bottles with slight external defects that we present to you in the "Existe en imparfaite" selection. These bottles are, of course, of "irreproachable" gustatory quality, but suffer from slight defects on the label or cap. We therefore offer them at a preferential price, making the pleasure of tasting them even more affordable.
