Description Prulho Voyage Hors d'Âge.

The bottle is full of originality and takes the shape of the "Topetttes" that Cognac cellar masters use to take their samples. The aged wood case echoes the codes of the barrels used to age precious eaux-de-vie, and lets the magnificent hue of this prestigious Cognac show through the bung.

La robe's beautiful deep amber color with mahogany highlights suggests a long-aging eau-de-vie, and this is confirmed on the nose with sublime, deep aromas of candied fruits, apricot Secs, hazelnuts and sandalwood, as well as intense floral scents. Subtle hints of honey also appear in the background.

The palate is subtle and gourmand with notes of candied fruit, nuts and rancio so typical of Grande Champagne terroirs. Notes of cigar box and rancio are pronounced and intensify with aeration. A powerful, complex Cognac with an exceptionally long finish, a tribute to Prulho's skill in the art of blending.
