Description Guillon-Painturaud Renaissance.
From a clay-limestone terroir in the Grande Champagne region, this cuvée offers great complexity with notes of candied fruit. The palate is gourmand and reveals a very long finish.
To the eye, the Renaissance reveals a golden color with caramel highlights.
Silky and gourmand in appearance, the nose is both rich and complex revealing notes of candied pears and slightly vanilla spices.
The candied orange aromas are found on the palate. The finish is woody thanks to the long aging of the eaux-de-vie that make it up.
The Renaissance cuvée pairs perfectly with a Williams pear tarte tatin.
